VFWD Building 68 Rehabilitation Project

The intent of the project is to rehabilitate an existing building that was formerly used for dewatering and make it more suitable for dry storage and forklift access. The scope of the project will include, leveling the existing concrete floor by saw cutting, grinding, and placing a topping slab; closing existing penetrations and openings in the masonry walls; and, replacing corroded, embedded walkway supports. Repairing spalled concrete, and recoating structural steel elements may be included as alternate bid items.
